Nicolás Londoño (Aka. NCK NAME)
Head Engineer/Producer/Composer
The Mixing Playground is the brainchild of Nck Name, winner of the ‘Best Emerging Artist In New Media’ at the Marty Awards. Over the last 18 years Nck has built a reputation for his meticulous attention to detail, his commitment to his craft, and his passion for every project he undertakes.
Since launching the Mixing Playground in 2021, Nck and his team have overseen the top-to-bottom sound production for over 12 major international productions. From films such as ‘The Witch Trials of La Befana’ (Ft. Oscar-winner Angelica Huston) and ‘Mother of All Shows’ (Ft. Wendie Malick), to award-winning features such as ‘Mother Father Sister Brother Frank’ (Ft. Enrico Colantoni) and ‘Six Days 2 Die’, (Ft. Colm Feore).
Nck earned his stripes as an in-house audio producer working with some of the biggest audio post-production houses in Canada, working on major motion pictures and ad campaigns, cherishing the opportunity to learn from the best.

‘Daysun’ Johnson
Composer/Producer
Born in Canada with Jamaican, Kittitian and Grenadian roots, DAYSUN maximizes recording “live” sounds and leverages his harmonic sensibilities across instruments like, piano, bass, cello, trumpet, drums and more to customize his musical approach for each project.
DAYSUN recently scored the 33-episode series Wordsville for TVO/PBS, where he composed energetic horn sections and delivered a score that combined funky R&B bounces with mysterious tones and textures. Additionally DAYSUN was asked to score the documentary Hard to Kill, directed by Mansel James and Produced by Sari Friedland (Blindness, Enemy). Hard to Kill is about a brain cancer survivor and vintage motorcycle racer. The film won the “Best Documentary Feature” award at the Toronto Independent Film Festival.
DAYSUN is a longtime studio owner and former bandleader. As a producer he has worked with Noah “40” Shebib (Drake) and produced many other artist’s projects.

Jessica Martins
Executive Producer/Advisor Business Relations
Jessica Martins is the Founder of Hero Artists and founding partner at Hero Entertainment Partners. She has executive produced several films including Eone’s FORSAKEN (Donald Sutherland, Kiefer Sutherland, Demi Moore), the Netflix Original KISS & CRY, and Roadside Attractions / Lionsgate, THE LAST FULL MEASURE (starring 8 Academy Award actors including Christopher Plummer and Samuel L Jackson), and Universal's musical biopic SPINNING GOLD (starring Broadway star Jeremy Jordan, Jason Isaacs, Wiz Khalifa, Jason Derulo and Michelle Monaghan). Recently, she has completed the first of three films in the musical franchise JULIET & ROMEO (starring Rebel Wilson, Clara Rugaard, Jamie Ward, Derek Jacobi, Jason Isaacs and Rupert Everett, to name a few) which will be released theatrically in the Spring of 2025. In addition, Jessica has expanded partnerships internationally expanding the Hero Group with divisions in London, New York and Rome in addition to the Canadian flagship offices. Next up, Jessica is producing SHERRIFF STREET, directed by Oscar Award winning Jim Sheridan, and THE YEAR OF WONDERS, which will be produced in multiple countries. Lastly, she sits on the advisory board of TILTIFY, a live streaming charity fundraising platform, is a member of the PGA, member of the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television, Women in Film and Television (Toronto, New York and Italian Chapters), the EIC, and the Women’s Executive Network (WXN).
Jessica strategically brings her business relationships, international experience and creativity in production to The Mixing Playground to provide more efficient solutions to productions world-wide.
